We hosted 2 separate semen collections at our farm during the Fall of 2014. We now have semen in the bank from 5 of our herd sires and will be offering select straws for sale in 2015.

Performance Testing

In 2014 we participated in 3 Buck performance tests with 9 individual bucks and our bucks did well in several of the individual categories of each test. In 2015 we decided to only participate in the WV Buck test as it was a logistical nightmare to arrange for transport to and from each of the 3 tests in OK, MD and WV last year. We currently have the #3 buck in the WV test by ADG ranking and are anxious to see how our bucks finish this year with the larger set of buck from different breeds and crossbreeds.

Special Sales

We have been invited to consign 3 does to the 2015 Cream of the Crop Kiko sale in Cordon, Indiana on Saturday October, 3rd more details to follow once we decide on our individual consignments. Most likely we will be taking 3 2015 HEMI daughters. At the 2014 Inaugural BPI sale in KY following the MD buck test, we had the high selling doe (a HEMI daughter). We chose not to participate in the MD buck test this year and were ineligible to consign does to the sale. However, we have asked to consign 2 straws of semen to the sale with all proceeds going to the children of our friend Craig Adams who passed away unexpectedly in July 2015. If you have previously asked us to sell you semen straws do not pass up this opportunity to do good and do well at the same time.

Farm Sales

As we continue to evaluate our 2015 kid crop from HEMI, SPOT, SonnyBoy, GT and HEMI's XX we are beginning to create a list of select does and bucks for sale. We hope to make the final cuts in August.
